Giorgio Stuffed Baby Bella Mushrooms

My husband loves mushrooms. Mushroom and Swiss burgers. Pizza topped with mushrooms. Sauteed mushrooms served atop a steak. Mushrooms in an omelet. Mushrooms served with other grilled veggies in fajitas. My husband’s love for mushrooms has influenced me over the years, and I’ve come to grow fond of them as well.

Stuffed mushrooms are a particular favorite for both my husband and me. Mushroom caps filled with savory cheese and seasonings and baked to melty perfection just hit the spot. We’re likely to order stuffed mushrooms at restaurants. (Red Lobster’s seafood stuffed mushrooms are divine.) Sometimes we try our hand at making them at home.

Or I often buy stuffed mushrooms at Aldi. These feature a blend of artichokes, spinach, and cheese.

Giorgio Stuffed Baby Bella Mushrooms

Giorgio Stuffed Baby Bella Mushrooms are a Regular Buy, which means you should be able to find them at Aldi all year. They’re stocked in the refrigerator aisle.

These cost $3.99 for an 8.5-ounce package at the time of writing. That’s about 47 cents per ounce. The package I bought had seven mushrooms, which comes out to about 57 cents per mushroom. It’s a lot less than what we typically pay for stuffed mushrooms at a restaurant.

These are a product of the U.S. The Giorgio brand is not exclusive to Aldi and is not an Aldi house brand. The package states these stuffed mushrooms are “made by or packed for Giorgio Fresh Co.” based in Blandon, Pennsylvania. Giorgio is a mushroom producer that sells a variety of fresh mushrooms as well as certain mushroom products, including stuffed mushrooms and portabella mushroom jerky. Their website also features a range of recipes that utilize mushrooms.

I found Giorgio stuffed mushrooms retailing for $5.49 for an 8.5-ounce package on Kroger’s website, or about 65 cents per ounce, so the Giorgio mushrooms at Aldi are a good deal.

Ready to serve after air frying.

I like to air fry these. I air fry them at 400 degrees for 8 minutes and they turn out hot and melty. Everyone in my household who likes mushrooms likes these. They have plenty of cheese and a fantastic savory flavor. These are good as appetizers, or they’re an ideal side dish served alongside steak, chicken, pork, seafood, or other meats.

The Verdict:

Giorgio Stuffed Baby Bella Mushrooms feature small mushroom caps stuffed with a mix of cheese, artichokes, and spinach. They’re savory and cheesy and always a good pick from the Aldi refrigerated aisle. If you like mushrooms, give these a try.

  1. I almost bought these. In my store they were on the refrigerated produce aisle. Even though they looked great I knew that it would be a treat just for me and I needed other things that trip. I’ll have to keep my eye out and maybe get them another time. Thanks for the review.
