Each week we highlight a few of the more interesting items in the upcoming Aldi weekly ad. Note that, in most areas, the ad takes effect on Wednesday.

This week’s theme is kitchen items, home goods, cut flowers and plants, patio and outdoor furniture and accessories, gardening supplies, yard and workshop tools, apparel and accessories, toys and crafts, health and beauty products, and assorted food and drink highlights.

Keep in mind that supplies are limited and these products are only in stores for a short time. Aldi does not offer online ordering for products after they sell out at your local store.

The Most Interesting Thing We Saw:

• Crofton Countertop Compost Bin, $14.99. We’ve owned one of these for four years, and this countertop bin is intended for use with an outdoor compost bin or outdoor compost pile. Features a sturdy handle for easy transport to your garden. Includes 3 odorless filters and 20 compostable bags. (Although in our experience it’s okay to not use the filters and bags.)
